VPRS 15983 Deeds and Securities Register

This register records details of land acquired by the Shire. Information recorded includes land title details, how the land was acquired and the location of the land.Information is recorded according to the Parish where the land was situated and then chronologically by date of acquisition. Information for some parishes is repeated throughout the register. A sequential numbering system for each transaction commenced in 1930. Some numbers were repeated throughout the register.
