The dataset contains grounding line locations for Storstrømmen and L. Bistrup Bræ, northeast Greenland. Grounding lines are generated from double-difference SAR interferograms using Sentinel-1 data for the period 2015-2024 from ascending track 74. Interferograms were generated for all available retrievals (every 6 days during 2016-2021, otherwise every 12 days) and a grounding line location was manually delineated for all instances were coherence was sufficiently retained. The grounding lines are stored in files:
Storstrommen_GL_S1.zip and LBistrup_GL_S1.zip
Additionally, the dataset contains code and data used to generate Figures 1-3 of the manuscript. The code is contained in python scripts:
Figure1.py, Figure2.py, and Figure3.py
The following supplementary data is provided:
ElevationChange_Storstrommen.csv - Elevation change data from the uppler/lower zones of Storstrømmen, estimated from NASA ATM and ArcticDEM data (see section 2.3 of the article)
GL_transect_storstrommen.zip - shapefile containing the transect used to estimate grounding line retreat for Storstrømmen
pha_dd_tifs_2018Oct - Double-difference interferograms documenting the drainage event presented in Figure 3a-c
