Predicted climate shifts within terrestrial protected areas worldwide

The dataset provides metrics on the extent of novel and disappearing climate conditions within terrestrial protected areas worldwide. The data also includes protected area chracteristics such as area, median elevation, terrain ruggedness, the human footprint and irreplaceability. The coordinates x and y included in the spreadsheet are given in degree (latitude and longitude), while WGS84 was used as a coordinate reference system. The area is given in km², elevation and terrain ruggedness in m. Other characteristics do not hold any unit. For details see the corresponding research paper.
