This collection consists of images and text from a watching brief by MOLA Northampton, of Northampton Market Square, Northamptonshire in November 2021. The excavation of geotechnical test pits identified post-medieval demolition deposits, evidence of domestic waste, cess like material and possible structures of unknown date. The site had stratified deposits of up to 6m in depth below the modern ground level.
