This dataset compares monotonic, cyclic, and traffic-light-system-based injection schemes for enhanced geothermal systems, as discussed in the paper “Energy-based traffic light system (ETLS) to balance injection-induced seismicity and permeability enhancement: a laboratory scale modeling study” by Nadja Lindner, Hannes Hofmann, Guido Blöcher, Mauro Cacace, Gergő András Hutka, Yinlin Ji, and Ioannis Stefanou. It includes source files for implementing the TLS and slip velocity-dependent aperture, preloading and meshing data, a mesh sensitivity analysis, files for different injection schemes, and the validated model.
