The Relationship between Job Crafting and Career Success of Train Conductors: the Parallel Mediating Effects of Work Engagement and Job Control

This study investigates the impact of job crafting on the career success of train conductors and examines the roles of work engagement and job control as mediators in this relationship. To conduct this research, a survey was carried out using the Job Crafting Scale, Career Success Scale, Work Engagement Scale and Job Control Scale among 160 train conductors. The results reveal: (1) a significant positive correlation between job crafting and the career success of train conductors; (2) job crafting influences the level of career success of train conductors through the parallel mediating effects of work engagement and job control. These findings hold practical value for guiding management in the railway industry and supporting the career success of train conductors.
