Confocal images and data analysis of longitudinal muscle sections from SOD1G93A mice after engraftment of CHR2+ motor neurons and optical stimulation training

These confocal z-stack images were used to obtain cross-sectional area data of individual muscle fibres within 30um longitudinal sections of the triceps surae muscle, to assess the effect of optical stimulation on muscle fibre morphology using the novel "dCALMS" technique .
