The dataset consists of 10 files reflecting the results of a quasi-experimental study conducted with 64 eleventh-grade students (in Vietnam), comparing the effectiveness of instruction using the REACT strategy with traditional teaching strategies. Quantitative data were analysed using the JASP software, employing independent samples t-tests, paired samples t-tests, and effect size calculations. The main variables include students’ learning outcomes, mathematical problem-solving ability, learning interest, and level of engagement. The findings indicate that the REACT strategy has a positive impact on learning outcomes, mathematical problem-solving ability, learning interest and student engagement.
