资源简介:
This study aims to analyze transcriptional differences, due to diet composition, on key proteins part of ontogenic and metabolic development of paralarvae from E. megalocyathus.Paralarvae of 56 days after hatching (DAH) from the same batch were separated in two treatments, complete and limited diets. Complete diet consisted of enriched Artemia plus small crabs. Limited diet consisted of non-enriched Artemia plus small crabs. Enrichment was Origold (Skretting trade mark), and crab species was Petrolisthes spp. Three paralarvae per treatment were collected for sequencing after 31 days, i.e. 87DAH. Each sample consisted in a complete paralarvae.Additionally, some paralarvae under complete diet only reached 64% of the size expected for fully developed paralarvae. Because of this, three underdeveloped paralarvae were also collected. Thus, the main goal of the project is to compare the transcriptome of paralarvae under different diet compositions, and a secondary aim consists into determine transcriptional differences between underdeveloped and fully developed paralarvae under the same diet.
