资源简介:
Bell’s palsy, named after the Scottish anatomist, Sir Charles Bell. It is the most common acute mono-neuropathy, it is a disorder affecting a single nerve involving sudden unilateral peripheral paralysis of the facial nerve. Bells palsy accounts for about 75% of all acute facial palsies and about 30% of the bells palsy patients who do not receive appropriate treatment may suffer from incomplete recovery. Reported annual incidence varies in different parts of the world varies between 11 to 40 per 100 000 people. The incidence of Bell's palsy is 20-30 cases for 100,000 in India and almost accounts for 70% of all cases of unilateral peripheral facial palsy It is an idiopathic form of lower motor neuron paralysis.,the objective of the study was to reduce the disability and improve the quality of life by the adjuvant use of kinesio taping and kabat physical rehabilitation on the patient with bells palsy , we concluded that the outcome tools HBS( house brackmann scale) , FDI (facial disability index) and FaCE (facial clinimetric evaluation scale) shows a significant results.
