植物化石名录数据库

从化石中可以看到古代动物、植物的样子，从而可以推断出古代动物、植物的生活情况和生活环境，可以推断出埋藏化石的地层形成的年代和经历的变化，可以看到生物从古到今的变化等等。依托《中国化石植物志》系列丛书，借鉴现代植物数据库标准和建设经验，对植物化石的名称、文献、图片、标本等相关数据进行收集、整理和入库，最终形成一个在线的植物化石名录综合系统。为植物化石研究提供相关参考资料。

Ancient animal and plant morphologies can be observed from fossils, allowing researchers to infer the living conditions and habitats of ancient organisms, as well as the formation age and geological evolution of the strata that preserve the fossils. Additionally, the evolutionary changes of organisms from ancient times to the present can be discerned, among other relevant research aspects.

Based on the series of monographs *Flora of Fossil Plants of China*, and drawing on the standards and construction experiences of modern plant databases, this dataset collects, curates and archives relevant data including plant fossil names, literature, images and specimens, ultimately establishing an online comprehensive catalog system for plant fossils. This system provides reference materials for plant fossil research.
