Overview This dataset aims to support the work presented in Link to JASA-EL paper It contains recordings from three locations across the North Pacific Ocean (OOI South; Wilcock et al. (2023) and Wilcock and Ocean Observatories Initiative (2023)), North Atlantic Ocean (Svalbard; Rørstadbotnen et al. (2023); Rørstadbotnen and Landrø (2023)), and Mediterranean Sea (MedSea; Rivet et al. (2021)), each with a unique DAS configuration with variability in depth range, seafloor sediments, length of the instrumented fiber, and gauge length. They all contain recordings of fin whale 20 Hz calls.The python repository developed to analyze this dataset DAS_Levels is available on GitHub and citable. Each sub folder contains: `DASPosition/`, with position file for the DAS cable including Lat, Lon, Depth `annotations/`, with a label csv file containing whale apex, offset and timing `data/`, with the signal and noise data `readme.txt` containing detailed informations about the dataset
