We aimed to understand how organisms can influence the accumulation of radioisotopes on glaciers and on the other hand, how environmental radioactivity is linked with the biodiversity of glaciers. Moreover, we measured diverse biotic and abiotic variables on Alpine glaciers presented in the Articles. Each BioSample represents one sample of cryoconite from cryoconite holes collected on Alpine glaciers in 2021.
