Gravity-based population projections consistent with the SSPs

You can find gridded population projections for the Mediterranean region that are consistent with the Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSPs). These projections have been produced with a gravity-based modeling approach, accounting for rural-urban and inland-coastal migration as well as for urban sprawl.<br>The population grids present the number of people per grid cell and are available for the total population (pop_tot), the urban population (pop_urb), and the rural population (pop_rur) in GeoTIFF format.
