Dataset uploaded as an exercise from a training course (ATC Lyon, June 2025), consisting on respiration measurements of lab experiments with PET and PP microplastics* in sandy soil across 20 different concentrations with 0.05% w/w increments (number code refers to concentration level, e.g. PET1 = 0 % w/w (control, PET2 = 0.05% w/w, PET3 = 0.1 % w/w). Respiration (CO2) measurement units are ppm. *Microplastics are defined here as particles <5 mm
