RNA-seq analysis of Aphis gossypii for identifying neonicotinoid resistance related genes. Aphis gossypii

Aphis gossypii is an important sucking pest that causes severe crop losses, both in the field and the greenhouses. Recently, A. gossypii populations resistant to neonicotinoid insecticides have been gradually increased in Japan. In order to identify neonicotinoid resistance related genes, we performed RNA-seq analysis of neonicotinoid resistant and suscptible strains of A. gossypii collected in Japan.
