Twenty-four papers from a fisheries by-products composting conference describe a wide range of research and outreach on small-scale composting techniques using fish and shellfish processing by-products. Specific topics include composting as a disposal alternative for marina-based fish-cleaning facilities; preparation and use of compost; blue crab and calico scallop by- products composting; agricultural uses; nursery and horticultural applications; and compost marketing.
