Oryzias latipes Transcriptome or Gene expression

This study generated and analyzed the testis transcriptome of medaka (Oryzias latipes) to provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying reproductive biology in this model fish species. Medaka is widely used in genetics, developmental biology, and ecotoxicology due to its short generation time, ease of laboratory maintenance, and sequenced genome. Characterizing the testis transcriptome offers valuable resources for understanding gene expression patterns involved in spermatogenesis, hormonal regulation, and reproductive capacity. The data will facilitate comparative genomic studies, support research on environmental impacts on reproduction, and contribute to broader investigations of vertebrate reproductive biology and evolution.
