SCH-Phantom-DECT-SPR: A Public Phantom Dual-Energy CT Dataset With Paired 100-kVp/140-kVp CT Images and Siemens Scanner-Derived SPR Maps

This dataset provides an independently acquired phantom dual-energy CT benchmark for 100-kVp to 140-kVp CT synthesis and stopping power ratio (SPR) validation. The data were acquired using a dual-source dual-energy CT scanner (SOMATOM Drive, Siemens Healthineers, Forchheim, Germany). Four phantoms were scanned: a CIRS 062M electron density phantom, an ATOM Dosimetry Phantom Model 706-G representing a 10-year-old pediatric dosimetry phantom, an Alderson Radiation Therapy Phantom, and an E2E SBRT thoracic phantom. Each phantom was scanned under three acquisition/reconstruction protocols: 1.5 mm + Qr40, 1.5 mm + Br38, and 3.0 mm + Br38. For each available phantom/protocol combination, de-identified DICOM series of 100-kVp CT, 140-kVp CT, and Siemens scanner-derived SPR maps are provided. The dataset is intended for external validation of dual-energy CT synthesis methods and for evaluating whether synthesized high-energy CT images can support downstream SPR-related quantitative assessment.
