Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment in Community Mental Health Service: Development, Practice, Experiences, and Outcomes, 2011

The primary objective of this project was to expand knowledge about Crisis Intervention & Home Treatment (CRHT) programs within community mental health services. The project includes three studies focusing on examining the development of and processes in crisis resolution and home treatment. The Study 1 examined the processes of developing a CRHT team and the patterns of practice that became established with the team, and the Study 2 described the service-user experiences of mental health crisis, the impacts of crisis on everyday life and service use, while the Study 3 described the patterns of service provision by the CRHT teams during a period of 24 months.
