United Nations Security Council Resolutions, 1946-2019

This dataset contains all Security Council resolutions from 1946-2019 in PDF format, as they are provided by the United Nations through their Official Documents System. As of 31 December 2019, the Security Council has adopted 2503 resolutions. The PDFs are provided "as is". For the purposes of automatic text analysis/corpus building, the following notes might be important, without claiming to be exhaustive: 

- each resolution is consecutively numbered (1-2503, with year in brackets) and preceded by S/RES/.

- UN Official Documents are electronically published since 1993/1994. PDFs prior to 1994 might not be readable. 

- Documents prior to 1994 are usually provided as scanned documents without OCR. This means not only that documents would need to be optimized for automatic character recognition, it also means that the relevant pages might contain more than one document, or parts of another document than the one indicated in the document code.
