The functional analysis of ladinin-1 in oral squamous cell carcioma cell lines.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) forms well-defined interfaces against adjacent non-cancerous epithelial tissues. We have identified ladinin-1 (LAD1) highly expressed at the interface of the cancer tissue, but its function was totally unknown in OSCC. This study aimed to clarify the functions of LAD1 in OSCC cells.
