FAIRMODE WG5 Bias-Corrected Scenario Results - Italian Working Group

This dataset contains the bias-corrected scenario fields produced by the Italian working group for Phase 1 of the FAIRMODE Working Group 5 intercomparison exercise. Other groups participated in the intercomparison, but their results are not included in this record. The dataset comprises 192 annual mean concentration fields for PM2.5, NO2 and O3, distributed as GeoTIFF files in three pollutant-specific ZIP archives. For each pollutant, 64 results were generated using different combinations of bias-correction sequences, adjustment methods, calibration strategies and spatialization algorithms. Selected or calibrated configurations based on cross-validation are identified by the +xv modifier. The results were generated with scenario-unbias version 1.0.1. The input and truth data are available separately in the FAIRMODE WG5 Phase 1 dataset. The classification and filename nomenclature follow the framework described in A Classification of Bias Correction Methodologies used in Air Quality Scenarios Modelling Applications.
