The latter is at the front of a wood chair with his hands clasped in front of him. The rest sit and look on from a wooden table at the right. On the table are many books and some paper. At the left of the background is an arched portico with ivy at the top. At the right of this is part of a church. The title of the image is at the top left while at the right is "Mission Play, San Gabriel, Cal.," all in black ink. On the center of the back is the name, location, and logo of the Pacific Novelty Company. At the top right is a square box for postage. The artifact was found within an envelope, which is item .1, along with more postcards that are items .2-.10. The object is in good condition with only minor abrasions at the corners.
