Flora of the canga of Serra dos Carajás, Pará, Brazil: Loranthaceae

Abstract This work presents descriptions, morphological and ecological comments to the species of Loranthaceae recorded for the canga of the Serra dos Carajás in Pará state. Five genera and nine species were recorded: Oryctanthus alveolatus, O. florulentus, Passovia disjectifolia, P. pedunculata, P. pyrifolia, Peristethium reticulatum, Psittacanthus eucalyptifolius, Struthanthus marginatus and S. polyrhizus.
