In this study bacterial strain BS19 was used. Strain BS19 was isolated from Antarctic soil by enrichment culture of sole carbon source by carbazole. This study focused on heterocyclic compounds degradation, which are a concerning pollutants group. Whole genome sequencing was conducted on strain BS19, to obtain genome information and analyze gene functions and protein expressions, which to contribute to heterocyclic compounds bioremediation.
