资源简介:
Abstract The presence of Brazil in international migration flows has consolidated Brazilian Portuguese as a transnational language. Traditionally, the spread of Portuguese is discussed regarding macro policies of language dissemination (ZOPPI-FONTANA, 2009; DA COSTA CARVALHO; SCHLATTER, 2011; OLIVEIRA, 2013, among others). From other perspective, the aim of this paper is to discuss micro policies of Brazilian Portuguese promotion stablished by transnational South-Korean families, i.e. non-oficial policy makers. For this purpose, excerpts of interviews held with two mothers from a South-Korean community located in Campinas Metropolitan Area are analyzed from a qualitative interpretation approach on the field of Applied Linguistics. The data were analyzed based on the notions of representation (HALL, 1997) and language manangement (SPOLSKY, 2009). The analysis demonstrated that manager-mothers seek ecological ways of unsettle English language ideologies in order to consolidate Portuguese in the family language policies.
