Wide-Field Fluorescence Measurement of Oil Film Distribution on a Two-Stroke Marine Engine Cylinder Liner

This dataset contains steady-state oil-film measurements acquired by wide-field fluorescence imaging on a full-scale transparent cylinder-liner test rig of a two-stroke marine engine, covering 135 injection events (45 injection-parameter combinations × 3 repeats). For each record it provides the background-subtracted steady-state raw signal frame, the unwrapped film-thickness map, the exact numerical thickness field (NumPy format, with effective-area mask and grid coordinates), and the record-level morphology metrics (effective area, effective mean film thickness, circumferential coverage angle, uniformity index).
