#Dataset Description This repository contains the raw observational datasets collected at Curtin's Dairy Research Farm, located at the Teagasc Dairy Production Centre, Fermoy, Co. Cork, Ireland (8°15′W, 52°10′N), spanning the period 2001–2024. The database includes three primary datasets collected as part of long-term monitoring of nitrogen dynamics in an intensive pasture-based dairy system: Paddock-level nitrogen dataset – records of nitrogen inputs, outputs, and management variables at the paddock scale. Groundwater monitoring dataset (GW_BH) – borehole measurements of groundwater nitrogen concentrations collected across the farm monitoring network. Soil profile dataset – soil sampling profiles collected to depths of up to 1 m across selected paddocks. These datasets were generated as part of long-term research investigating nitrogen cycling, accumulation, and transport within intensive dairy systems.
