Soil microbial legacy of buckwheat enhances cabbage resistance to clubroot

The legacy of land use history has an effect on plant health. However, our understanding of the mechanisms by which the soil legacy in rotation systems influences plant disease resistance through interactions between the plant-microbiome within the rhizosphere remain unclear. Here, based on rhizosphere interactions, we investigated the microbial soil legacy from the fore-rotating crop - buckwheat and its effects on cabbage growth and clubroot disease resistance.
