Data from a study of AI tools currently used by professionals and students in the IT field.

This dataset collects information on the use of artificial intelligence tools among professional programmers and programming students, both nationally and internationally. The information was obtained through a structured questionnaire that identified variables such as level of experience, academic or professional dedication, AI tools used, and perceptions of their usefulness in different phases of the software development life cycle.

The information was processed and organized into two files: the second file contains the original database with the questionnaire responses, which underwent a process of refinement and cleaning to ensure its quality and consistency. The first file was generated from this processed data and contains the graphs and visualizations included in the article, which serve as the basis for the analysis and discussion of the results.
