To investigate the functional role of SEGS-1 and SEGS-2 during geminivirus infection, we transformed the hypersusceptible Arabidopsis accession (Sei-0) with a 1.5mer construct of SEGS-1 or SEGS-2 to generate transgenic SEGS-1 and SEGS-2. The genotypes were then agroinoculated with ACMV (DNA-A and DNA-B) or with an empty T-DNA (mock control). Illumina sequencing libraries were made from mRNA isolated from leaves 5-6 of untreated (healthy), infected and mock-inoculated plants at 12 dpi and sequenced on the NovaSeq 6000 platform.
