资源简介:
This record provides curated urinary metabolite panel results for a Bulgarian pediatric cohort with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), aged 3–13 years (N=73). The dataset contains quantitative urinary analytes and accompanying metadata (units and laboratory reference limits) to support reproducible reuse.
Scope of this v1 release. This release contains quantitative results for 24 urinary metabolites, representing a curated subset of a broader diagnostic panel.
Included metabolites (24):Dopamine; Noradrenaline; Adrenaline; Serotonin; GABA; Glutamate; Phenylalanine; Tyrosine; Cystathionine; Methylmalonic acid; Nicotinic acid; Nicotinamide; S-Adenosyl Methionine; Betaine; Choline; SAM/SAH; Citrulline; Citrate; Lactate; Pyruvate; Suberic acid; Carnitine; Trimethylamine N-Oxide; Trimethylamine.
For machine-readable definitions, units, and reference limits see ASD_v1_data_dictionary.csv and ASD_v1_reference_ranges_units.csv.
Excluded analytes: tryptophan-pathway metabolites, neopterin, and urinary creatinine (as a standalone analyte). All analytes from the broader diagnostic panel that are not included in this v1 release are reported in the associated preprint (DOI: 10.20944/preprints202602.0882.v1) and are not duplicated here.
Qualified result handling. Qualified results occur only for Trimethylamine. Laboratory-reported values below the limit of quantification (e.g., “<0.1”) were converted to analysis-ready numeric values using LOQ/2 (0.05). This release provides the numeric values used for analysis (the original lab string fields are not included).
Files included:
ASD_urine_metabolites_panel_v1_results_anonymized_shuffled.csv / .xlsx — anonymized metabolite concentrations (73×24).
ASD_v1_data_dictionary.csv — variable definitions (names, descriptions, units, reference metadata).
ASD_v1_reference_ranges_units.csv — units and laboratory reference limits (type and low/high bounds).
ASD_v1_README.md and ASD_v1_CHANGELOG.md — usage notes and version history.
ASD_v1_SHA256SUMS.txt — SHA-256 checksums for integrity verification (optional).
Privacy note. The dataset is anonymized and contains no direct identifiers, dates, locations, or demographic variables. Records are shuffled and no mapping to internal IDs is provided.
