Awareness and knowledge of the global monkeypox epidemic among physiotherapy students

Monkeypox is accustomed as a widely spaced Zoonotic virus results in viral ailment along with smallpox-like symptoms including indications. Monkeypox virus, identified by a double-stranded DNA ailment from the generic name Orthopoxvirus. The purpose of this online research was to assess Awareness and Knowledge of the global monkeypox epidemic among physiotherapy students, Total of 295 participants of age group 18-28 years were included in the study. The online survey was carried out because it was more sufficient , less time consuming , less expensive, as well as less resourceful. In this study, 295 participants participated based on convenient sampling out of which of 40.7% (120) male and 59.3% (175) were female, According to the outcome of this study 94.9% (280) of population answered that monkeypox is a viral disease indicated that they were aware about it and 3.4%(10) saying bacterial indicates that they were not aware about monkeypox disease along with 1.4% (4) answered fungal disease. In present study concluded that half of the physiotherapy students and interns were aware about the monkeypox viral disease so that the level of awareness in our research is moderate.
