Response of bacterial communities to PAHs and Graphane

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are a class of toxic organic pollutants. Understanding their influence on soil ecosystems at the microbial community level is of great importance for environmental assessment and bioremediation. However, it remains controversial about their influences on microbial communities. Through the massive parallel illumina sequencing technique, we investigated the effect of a high molecular weight PAHs, pyrene on the diversity, structure, and composition of bacterial communities in four different soils.
