资源简介:
This dataset comes from the Supporting Healthy Relationships (SHR) study, a randomized controlled trial conducted at Montefiore-Einstein in the Bronx, New York. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of SHR, a couple relationship education program for low-income couples, when delivered virtually (via Zoom) compared to in-person. The dataset includes information from 159 couples who were randomly assigned to participate in ten weekly sessions either online or in person. The program combined content from the Bringing Baby Home and Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program (PREP 8.0) curricula. Surveys were collected at baseline and six months after enrollment, with the primary outcome being relationship satisfaction measured by the Couple Satisfaction Index (CSI). The scope of the data allows researchers to examine how relationship education impacts couples’ relationship quality, and whether virtual program delivery is comparable to in-person participation. The dataset may be useful for those studying family strengthening, program delivery formats, or relationship outcomes among low-income and underserved populations.
