The goal of this project is to use phylogenomics to understand the evolutionary relationships of the Australo-Papuan endemic Nomiinae. Specifically, this project aims to generate UCE and whole genome data for species of the genera Paulynomia, Austronomia, Mellitidia, Reepenia, and Ptilonomia, and to illuminate the phylogenetic position of these genera in the phylogeny of Nomiinae.
