Andratx Microcatchment Wildfires Study

This dataset is an open repository usable by all. A wildfire-prone area of Mallorca (Sa Font de la Vila catchment, Andratx) was investigated to produce the data in this repository, using both field measurements and secondary climate data. The DayCent Model was used with these parameters to characterise the study site's historical and future climate and biogeochemistry. Historical runs help to validate the model so that it can be effectively used to project future scenarios. This data is aimed to be able to answer the following research questions: 1. State of the System: What is the Difference in vegetation and soil in a burnt once and burnt twice zone?2. What will Vegetation be like in a more fire prone environment in 2050 based on a middle emissions scenario?3. How would this environment recover assuming no further wildfires but three different climate scenarios?
