This dataset is developed by collecting and analyzing the total amount of intellectual property (IP) assets and the proportion of various types of IP assets of some enterprises in the Shengzhou welding industry, combined with the main product types of these enterprises, to calculate the quantity ranges of IP applications for different types of Shengzhou welding enterprises, so as to help enterprises in the Shengzhou welding industry formulate IP strategies and guide IP applications. Based on the proportion ranges of various types of IP assets and combined with the main product types of enterprises, this dataset can identify which types of IP enterprises in the Shengzhou welding industry primarily apply for more frequently and which types are applied for less frequently. This allows enterprises in the industry to directly refer to the results to layout and deploy corresponding types of IP, reduce their workload and costs related to IP, and support enterprises' IP layout and protection work. The algorithm rules are as follows: 1. Data Collection: Identify and select enterprises in the Shengzhou welding industry, and collect the quantities of their trademarks, invention patents, utility model patents, design patents, and copyright registrations via the National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and third-party IP retrieval platforms. 2. Data Processing: Calculate the total number of IP assets X for each enterprise, then derive the proportion of trademarks in the total IP assets (trademark quantity / X), the proportion of invention patents in the total IP assets (invention patent quantity / X), the proportion of utility model patents in the total IP assets (utility model patent quantity / X), the proportion of design patents in the total IP assets (design patent quantity / X), and the proportion of copyright registrations in the total IP assets (copyright registration quantity / X). 3. Obtain reasonable proportion ranges of trademarks, invention patents, utility model patents, design patents, and copyright registrations among enterprises in the Shengzhou welding industry through statistical analysis and screening. 4. Data Application: Based on the proportion ranges of various types of IP assets, put forward reasonable suggestions for IP management of Shengzhou welding enterprises of different scales, and provide support and guarantee for the IP protection of these enterprises.
