The Alligator Rivers Region is located in the wet-dry tropics along the coastal zone of northern Australia and contains Kakadu National Park, which is recognised under the Ramsar Convention on Wetland
This collection contains high resolution domestic water usage data captured over a 2 week period in Autum 2011. This data was compiled from a network of remote sensors (approximately 300 data loggers)
The scavenging potential was measured and the assemblage was sampled in nine estuaries in southeast Queensland, spanning 200 km of coastline. The EHI is calculated for 19 estuaries within this region
