Effect of ingestion of different types oils in the microbial diversity of overweight women

The study is a randomized clinical trial with the objective of investigating the impact of soybean oil, extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil, presenting different fatty acid profiles, associated with the normolipid diet restricted in energy in overweight women over bacterial diversity. We believe that our project will be of great relevance, since its results can help in the identification of therapeutic strategies able to prevent and control chronic diseases, such as obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
