Alteration of auxins, cytokinins and bacterial community be-tween host twigs and insect galls of gall wasp Lithosaphonecrus arcoverticus

Insect galls are abnormal growth of plant tissues and characterized by high contents of auxins and cytokinins. It remains unclear whether the auxins and cytokinins of insect galls are associated with bacterial synthesis. We compared the bacterial community structure of Lithosaphonecrus arcoverticus galls and the galled twigs of Lithocarpus glaber by high-throughput sequencing for the first time. We suggested that the auxins and cytokinins of L. arcoverticus galls may be partly derived from bacterial synthesis.
