In vitro verification of Gretel haplotype recovery method

We have developed a novel probabilistic method for reconstructing haplotypes for any particular genomic region of interest within a metagenomic dataset. Implemented in the twin software tools Hansel and Gretel, the algorithm performs incremental probabilistic haplotype recovery using Naive Bayes. This study includes sequence data generated in order to verify the Hansel and Gretel computational method, for extraction of haplotypes from short-read metagenome data.
