The INTESTI bacteriophage cocktail genome sequencing and assembly. probiotic metagenome

We performed a metagenomic analysis of the INTESTI bacteriophage cocktail, a commercially available product which is used in Georgia for the treatment of bacterial infections in humans. The goal of our study is to identify and characterize the component phages. To do so, we sequence the cocktail as a metagenome and re-construct phage draft genomes from the resulting assembly.
