The Kongsfjorden is fjord of the west Spitsbergen and located in the Svalbard archipelago. Chlorophyll a samples were collected from the Kongsfjorden from July, 2019 onboard the Teisten. The purpose of this study were (i) to investigate spatial variation in phytoplankton size structure based on chlorophyll a data (ii) to estimate contribution of pico-phytoplankton to total biomass during July in the Kongsfjorden, Svalbard.
