资源简介:
According to the standard lore gamma-ray emission from blazars originates in jets blazars show accretion rates far below the Eddington limit and the accretion flow forms a torus. The Narrow-Line Seyfert 1 galaxy 1H0323+342 member of a new class of gamma-ray emitting AGN does not fit into this picture: it shows near-Eddington accretion rate from an optically thick disk showing at the same time gamma-ray emission. Moreover 1H0323+342 seems to represent a transitional case in which the inner disk heats up and blows up to a torus configuration as the accretion rate goes down (or vice versa). Thus 1H0323+342 is the best target among the four gamma-ray bright Narrow-Line Seyfert 1 galaxies for its brightness and for its variability: in order to be able to study the disk/jet coupling and overall which condition take to the emerging of the jet over the disk spectrum it is mandatory to perform simultaneous multiwavelenth observations and among them the hard X-ray band is particularily r^ant: this is the scope of this proposal. Integral observations will be a crucial point in the success of the multiwavelength campaign on 1H0323+342 that will shed light on this jet/disk paradigm. [truncated!
