Global Mangrove Restoration Flood Risk Benefits and Costs Dataset
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains global-scale estimates of mangrove restoration benefits, costs, and benefit-cost ratios under present-day conditions and future climate scenarios, corresponding to the study by Tiggeloven et al. published in XXX. Data Overview: The dataset includes spatially aggregated results for coastal administrative units globally, containing: Benefit-cost analysis results for mangrove restoration under two future scenarios: RCP4.5/SSP2 (moderate emissions pathway) RCP8.5/SSP5 (high emissions pathway) Flood risk reduction metrics: Expected Annual Damage (EAD) reduction Expected Annual Population (EAP) reduction Net Present Value (NPV) Total restoration benefits and costs Temporal coverage: Present-day (baseline) and future projections to 2100 Files Included: Sub-national_results.xlsx - Main dataset with all scenarios and metrics Simplified_states.shp - Shapefile of coastal administrative units for spatial linking via FID_Aque field Data Structure: The Excel file contains the following key columns: FID_Aque: Unique identifier linking to the spatial shapefile ISO: ISO country code FLOPROS: Coastal protection standard indicator Scenario-specific columns for benefits, costs, NPV, and risk reductions Important Usage Notes: ⚠️ Spatial Scale Limitation: This dataset presents results aggregated at regional/administrative scales and is not suitable for local-scale or site-specific decision-making. The data are intended for national and regional overview and proxy analysis. Site-specific restoration assessments require detailed local analysis that accounts for fine-scale biophysical, socioeconomic, and governance factors not captured in this global assessment. Linking Spatial Data: The FID_Aque column in the Excel file corresponds to the feature IDs in the accompanying shapefile.
