Complete chloroplast genome of Rhaphiolepis species

Rhaphiolepis species are valued for their ornamental and medicinal properties. We assembled and annotated the chloroplast genomes of nine Rhaphiolepis species. The chloroplast genome was assembled using GetOrganelle v1.7.7 software. This study provides the complete chloroplast (cp) genomes of nine Rhaphiolepis species, characterized by a typical quadripartite circular architecture including LSC, SSC and IR regions. This study will also support the genetic improvement of these economically important plants via chloroplast genetic engineering techniques.
