资源简介:

Supplementary dataset (3D refractive index reconstructions) for the research article "Accurate determination of the refractive index in biological tissues using limited-angle optical diffraction tomography": The shared ZIP archive (3D_RI_reconstructions_murine_retina.zip) contains 10 MATLAB MAT-files with reconstruction data, organized into folders according to the sample type: formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples are stored in the “FFPE” folder, whereas frozen sections are stored in the “Frozen” folder. For each sample type, the MAT-files are further organized according to the immersion medium used during sample preparation, as indicated in the filenames: phosphate-buffered saline (“PBS”), glycerol (“glycerol”), and immersion oil (“immersion_oil”). Each MAT-file contains the same set of variables: RECstitch: 3D array containing the reconstructed refractive index (RI) values; dx: isotropic voxel size (dx = dy = dz) of the reconstruction data in the RECstitch array, in micrometers; n_imm: RI of the immersion medium used in the sample preparation; lambda: illumination wavelength used for the ODT measurements, in micrometers. All 3D reconstructions of the retinal tissue RI stored in the RECstitch arrays were generated by stitching multiple 3D reconstructions, each corresponding to a single optical diffraction tomography (ODT) measurement. The x and z dimensions (x = z) correspond to the size of a single reconstruction, whereas the y dimension represents the total extent of the reconstructed volume along the stitching direction.
