During postnatal development of mammalian brain, neuronal circuits are rewired by experience especially in juvenile stage. This project aims to clarify the regulatory landscape of chromatin of excitatory neuron in the cerebral cortex of juvenile mouse. In addition, the role of Nipbl, which is mutated in Cornelia de Lange syndrome including mental retardation, in the regulation of chromatin and gene expression in excitatory neurons is examined.
